ABOUT ME
Videographer, Filmmaker, Director, Writer
ANGELO AZAR

I always enjoyed watching movies, but my true interest in filmmaking became apparent to me in 2015 after watching George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road in IMAX with my father. It was a true cinematic spectacle compared to the safe PG-13 action I'd seen before. The film effortlessly transported me into its post-apocalyptic world with its stunning cinematography, exhilarating action, and compelling storytelling; it left a profound impact. That is when I realized I wanted to create visual experiences that people could resonate with.
During my high school education, I attended multiple video and film classes. From stage manager on a simulated news set, to producing content for the school's show "Aftershock", I gained valuable experience with industry-level equipment, such as Blackmagic Design cameras and Pansonic AVVCAM camcorders and software like Davinci Resolve, Adobe (Ps, Pr, Ae,). I also practiced photography with DSLR brands like Nikon, Canon, and Sony. By the time I graduated, I was a one-man studio.
Today I am studying at FAU. I am constantly improving in all areas but I work mainly as a director, videographer, editor, colorist, and sound mixer. The work I provide aims to infuse that same cinematic, larger-than-life, feeling that intrigued me so much back in 2015. Whether it's a promotional video, wedding, documentary, film, music video, or creative commercial, I do my utmost to make sure each frame is a work of art.
Transform your vision into an unforgettable cinematic experience, I'm here to bring your ideas to life. Let's collaborate and create something extraordinary together.
EDUCATION

FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY
I live in South Florida and I am pursuing a Bachelor's in film. I'm attending FAU and majoring in Multimedia Studies with a concentration in Film, TV, & New Media. I plan to specialize in cinematography and producing.
CYPRESS BAY HIGH
I took 4 years of TV Production in high school, where I learned how a news station runs and how to operate mostly any camera. We simulated news shows and I played various roles at different times like anchor or stage manager. I later worked more in video and editing to participate in the school's show "Aftershock".
